Hebe loves a good secret, so won't reveal who you are to the recipient without your expressed permission - even if they ask really, really nicely. Hebe treats all orders as anonymous and, if the recipient does want to know who sent them, hebe will contact you to find out what you want us to do.
Customer information
If you're just browsing the website, you don't need to tell hebe anything about yourself. But once you're a customer, hebe will ask you for only the information needed to serve you well. Hebe needs to know:
- Orders your name, contact email address, password, residential address, contact telephone number and credit card details (type of card, number, expiry and CVC number).
- Deliveries the name, address and phone number of the recipient. Hebe also stores all card messages to recipients.
- Customer communication various other customer-based information to personalise your shopping experience, such as by sending event and occasion reminders and relevant special offers (at your request).
Non-identifying information
To help Hebe on the quest for self-improvement, non-identifying information is gathered whenever someone visits the site. This helps hebe understand how customers use the site, which pages are most/least useful, whether promotions are effective and what sections could be improved - all great things to know when your goal is to keep getting better and better.
The non-identifying information hebe gathers includes:
- internet protocol (IP) address that connects a visitor's computer to the internet
- the dates and times of the visits
- the site the visitor was on before visiting hebe
- pages accessed and documents downloaded
- products viewed or searched for
- success/failure code
- what operating system was used.

Cookies are the files hebe's web server sends to your computer to store information - they track what pages you visit and let you add items to your cart, use log-in features and have payments processed.
